Welcome to Editorproof.com. This site is owned and operated by TWS Publishing. By visiting this site and entering into agreements with Editorproof, you hereby agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully:
Intellectual Property
The client retains sole copyright, ownership and control over all written materials submitted to us for service, be it editing, proofreading, or writing for a period of no less than two years after service rendered. This includes any content created or developed by Editorproof.
Editorproof will never publicly share any client document without the express written consent of the client during this period. After the two-year period expires, full and/or portions of all materials may be used for educational and/or promotional purposes without the consent of client. Any identifying materials/information will be removed from these samples.
Protecting your information
We collect information from you when you fill out a form or make a request for services or products via email.
All financial transactions are conducted via third-party platforms such as PayPal. No private information of the client (credit cards or other financial information) is stored on our server or database.
When placing an order with us, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number.
Nondisclosure to outside parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe it is appropriate to do so to comply with the law, enforce our policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.
Plagiarism, Copyright, and Content of Materials Submitted to or Created by Editorproof
Clients are reminded that plagiarism and copyright infringement are illegal. Editorproof reserves the right to decline quote requests from any potential client whose work involves plagiarized content. In cases in which a document has been accepted for editing and where breach of copyright or plagiarism is discovered or suspected, the client will be made aware of the consequences of such breaches, and editing, proofreading, or rewriting will not proceed.
Editorproof reserves the right to refuse to work with or create any document that advocates or incites violence, hatred, or discrimination, as well as any document that is obscene or pornographic, or in contravention of national and international laws.
Users of the editorproof.com website are prohibited from posting or transmitting to the site any material that is infected with a virus or any form of malware, unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or pornographic, as well as any other material that would violate any law. The information contained in client documents edited by Editorproof may include opinions or views that are not those of TWS Publishing or any person associated with TWS Publishing. TWS Publishing is not responsible or liable for the use of any information contained in client documents including misleading or defamatory statements, or the infringement of third party copyright.
Client accepts sole responsibility for complete and accurate documentation, references and citations within their final documents.
Quality of Work
Editorproof aims to offer clients complete satisfaction through our top quality Editing and Writing Services. All documents are thereby approached with a high and exacting standard; however, we cannot guarantee that all documents are delivered completely error-free.
As such, TWS Publishing is not liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost revenues or profits, loss of business, or loss of data related to this service. This exemption applies to any claim, loss, or injury based on errors or omissions, interruptions or any other inaccuracies that may appear on the editorproof.com website or in an edited client document.
TWS Publishing is not obligated to refund the cost of services rendered in the case of a serviced document being less than perfect. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the document meets the client’s standards. Once the client accepts a final draft, the work will be considered complete and satisfactory to the client. We do request, however, that the client contact us if not completely satisfied with the service. Editorproof will correct any outstanding issues within a document in a timely fashion and to the client’s satisfaction. Any major changes to the document after the client has approved of a final draft will be considered a new project.
Post Delivery of Document(s)
Editorproof will strive to aid the client in reaching the client’s intended goals by way of the documents serviced. Editorproof is under no obligation, however, to guarantee the successful attainment of goals beyond our control. Editorproof will not issue a refund for the following: a client’s failure to secure admission to any institution for which documents have been edited, proofread, or rewritten for the client; a client’s failure to secure a job interview for which a resume has been created, edited, proofread, or rewritten for the client; a client’s business goals not met via copy that has been created, edited, proofread, or rewritten for the client.
Electronic communications
When you visit editorproof.com or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You thereby agree to receive communications from us electronically in return. We will correspond with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided to you electronically satisfy the same and any legal requirement that such communications would in writing.
Client Information
The client is responsible for providing true and accurate information with respect to his or her name, address, phone number, email address and all payment details. Failure to provide correct and accurate information can result in a refusal to provide service. The client assumes full responsibility for any problems, errors, and legal liability resulting from such false information. All information submitted by the client is confidential and secure.
Ownership and Copyright of Business Names and Website Content
The Editorproof website https://editorproof.com, and name, “Editorproof” are owned and operated by TWS Publishing. All material on this site including services, images, policies, copy, and prices are protected by international copyright and trademark law. These names and the website content cannot be used, copied, reproduced, republished, transmitted, framed, printed, or modified without the express permission of TWS Publishing.
Refusal/Denial of Service
Editorproof reserves the right to deny or refuse service to any client or prospective client for any reason and without explanation.
Fraud or Theft
TWS Publishing is not liable in cases where any credit card or other payment method is fraudulently used to pay for its services.
Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold TWS Publishing and anyone associated with TWS Publishing harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable fees and costs for the service of an attorney, or as may be made by any third party due to or arising from use of the site or service, or violation of the Terms and Conditions by the client, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity by the client.
TWS Publishing gives no assurances or warranty regarding the accuracy, currency, or applicability of any of the website contents in relation to specific situations and particular circumstances, and disclaims all liability with respect to such information.
Technical Disclaimer
TWS Publishing is not liable or responsible for service delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances, such as technical problems, including server or connection issues that are beyond our control. We will make every effort to meet deadlines and communicate with clients in the case of technical problems.
TWS Publishing is not liable or responsible for any damage to computer hardware or software arising from the distribution of a computer virus through the use of the TWS Publishing website.
Termination of Service
Should a client violate any or all of the Terms and Conditions as outlined in this document, TWS Publishing reserves the right to terminate all contractual obligations with the client. Furthermore, TWS Publishing may, at its discretion, discontinue or terminate operation of its websites, services, or trading name without notice at any time and for any reason.
Editorproof is committed to providing exceptional Professional Editing and Writing Services. TWS Publishing is not obligated to refund the purchase price of any service under any circumstance unless explicitly agreed to by TWS Publishing. If applicable, any refund will be granted within five business days from receipt of a request. Price, terms, and availability are subject to change without notice. All prices quoted are in American dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. TWS Publishing and its affiliates reserve the right to request payment prior to delivery of service, to refuse service, or to cancel orders at its sole discretion.
Purchase prices and invoices may be based on information that client provides to us, including the word count of the documents client submits for service. Client represents and warrants that such information is accurate, and agrees to pay to TWS Publishing any additional charges arising from any inaccuracy in such information within seven days of notification thereof. TWS Publishing is not obligated to verify the accuracy of such information but will refund to client any overpayment arising from inaccuracy therein within five business days of the discovery thereof.
TWS Publishing may, at its sole discretion, offer other payment arrangements to regular business and personal clients. Payment is due upon receipt of an invoice. Payments will be processed via PayPal, unless other arrangements have been agreed to by Editorproof and the client.
The client is responsible for providing detailed requirements to Editorproof before a quote is issued. These requirements form the Scope of Work. Failure by the client to provide correct and accurate information in the Scope of Work may result in the cancellation of a transaction. Where a transaction is cancelled due to a breach of these terms and conditions, a refund will be offered to the client of all money paid less any associated costs incurred by TWS Publishing, including bank/transfer fees and editor costs. The client assumes full responsibility for any problems, errors, and legal liability resulting from an incorrect statement of work.
TWS Publishing reserves the right to cancel service to any client when a virus is suspected in submitted documents. In the case of a transaction, a refund will be issued less any associated cost incurred by TWS Publishing, including bank/transfer fees, editor costs, and virus removal costs.
TWS Publishing reserves the right to cancel service to any client for any reason and without explanation.
Jurisdiction
TWS Publishing is governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada; by accepting these terms and conditions, you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions as written here may be modified, amended, altered, changed, reorganized, rewritten, or revoked at any time, for any reason, and without notice.

If we decide to change our Terms and Conditions, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the Terms and Conditions modification date below.
