Writing is a craft. It requires an eye for detail, an ear for tone, and a touch of style. Writing demonstrates an ability to communicate not only ideas, but one’s personality, dedication, and diligence in the pursuit of professionalism. Your documents, emails, essays, applications… in fact, everything you write is a reflection of who you are.

Adam Benn, CEO

Adam at EditorProof

Adam has been working with the English language for over 25 years. From teaching ESL and test preparation in five countries and online to being a certified editor and proven writer. Adam honed his writing skills during his bachelor’s studies in philosophy and then again during his master’s work in English literature.

Over the years, Adam has helped many prospective students successfully apply for admissions to universities and colleges in both English and non-English speaking countries. He has also improved many CVs and resumes, fine-tuned academic essays (up to and including doctoral dissertations), helped referees recommend their staff and/or students for academic programs and employment opportunities, and made clients’ blog posts more readable and engaging.

Adam has written several books to help students prepare for English exams and is currently working on several more. He also has a huge following on YouTube with over 3.5 million subscribers on two channels:

While he hails from Toronto, Canada, Adam currently resides in Busan, S. Korea and still loves to travel and meet different people from all over the world. When not immersed in words, he loves cooking, and even more so, eating; he works out at the local gym and paddleboards in the summer sea. Weekends are for quality time with family and friends.
